Multiple concurrent applications

A Xholon application may consist of two or more Xholon applications, each running on its own thread, and each separately controllable. Each application can run at a different speed (different timestep interval), and can be separately started, paused, unpaused, and stopped. Nodes within one hierarchical structure can interact with nodes in one of the other hierarchical structures.

For an example, see the MultiApp sample application.
