I'm seeing a lot of interest in online digital education.
Some links:
Codecademy: Next Frontier In Digital Education Movement "Education is undergoing a dramatic wave of digital innovation"
Khan Academy "Learn almost anything for free. With a library of over 2,700 videos covering everything from arithmetic to physics, finance, and history and 244 practice exercises, we're on a mission to help you learn what you want, when you want, at your own pace."
codecademy "Learn to code. Codecademy is the easiest way to learn how to code. It's interactive, fun, and you can do it with your friends."
I'm developing an online workbook. One immediate use is taking notes while watching a Khan Academy video. The notes are in the form of text, simple Python and JavaScript code, and Xholon Chameleon apps. The Xholon Workbook provides a way of actively engaging with the material that Sal Khan presents.
