This page provides up-to-date editable images of atmospheric greenhouse gas levels, in as many languages as possible, using publicly-available scientifically-measured data. It also demonstrates some of the benefits of using Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG).

The Keeling Curve shows the average level of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere for each month since March 1958, as measured at the Mauna Loa Observatory in Hawaii. On this page, the curve is drawn at a rate of about 12 months per second, rather than displaying the entire curve all at once. This is to highlight the ongoing passage of time. The data is retrieved directly from NOAA, who update it each month.

The template for the SVG image, and the language translations, are from wikipedia. The SVG images generated on this page are available under the same free license(s) as the wikipedia original.
